The Wrong Side of the Water

A desperate ride through chaos turns into a fight for survival aboard the shattered ‘Freedom Express.

The adventure begins not in a quiet tavern, but on a speeding train bound for the labor camps — a train filled with convicts, guards, and uneasy civilians. What should have been a grim but predictable journey takes a violent turn when a gang of prisoners hijacks half the train, offering “freedom” to those bold enough to join them.

Before order can be restored, the wilderness itself lashes out. Wolves — twisted, unnatural, their behavior eerily wrong — tear into the fleeing crowds, leaving blood on the tracks. Panic erupts. The locomotive is damaged, the train divided, and the survivors scattered between wrecked carriages and the hostile wilds beyond.

You and your fellow adventurers find yourselves in the wreckage of a third-class carriage. The window is shattered. The guards — eight of them, ashamed and shaken — clutch four rifles between them, while terrified civilians and a handful of indecisive convicts cling to you for direction. In the distance, the guttural howls of the strange wolves echo, promising that the ordeal is far from over.

From here, the story unfolds into a branching campaign of survival, mystery, and hard choices. Will you side with the gang that escaped on the “Freedom Express”? Rally the guards and protect the innocent? Investigate the unsettling presence of unnatural predators? Or chart a path of your own through a land where safety is only ever temporary?

Every decision pushes you further into a harsh frontier where human treachery and inhuman terror collide — and the rails you ride may lead not to salvation, but to the heart of a much greater storm.
